THE HELMSMEN*
THE HELMSMEN*
WELCOME ON BOARD!
In today’s world of business, virtually every new day is about heading off to new shores! The entrepreneur quickly becomes an economic captain who has to lead his own fleet. And anyone who has already set sail knows one thing for sure: Every departure is a risk, and every journey can go off course …
Out on the open sea of possibilities, the course is what decides between success and failure: some are stuck in the doldrums, others have to strike sail when the wind picks up. In the end, those who know their course and have their eye on the prize are successful.
It’s a good thing then that the experts at SOT (Süd-Ost Treuhand) know their trade inside and out. As helmsmen (“Steuer-Männer” in German – “Steuer” meaning both “helm” and “tax”, and “Männer” meaning “men”), they stand by the captain’s side. They calculate the course, hold the rudder tightly in hand, sometimes circumnavigate shoals and obstacles and lead the ship into calm waters.
With more than 70 years of experience in tax consulting, auditing and project business, SOT works every day to keep both large ocean liners as well as regional speedboats on course to success. With technical competence, international networking and that little extra bit of effort that is needed to ride the wave of success.
*In shipping and in business, women are increasingly taking over the helm and occupying a variety of high-level positions – and SOT is no exception. Unfortunately, our language is adapting very slowly to this development, and the word “HELMSWOMEN” is still quite uncommon. We often use the male form on this website, but of course we mean both genders! And if you want, you can also visit the site at www.steuer-frauen.at ;-)
Do you want your company to be a tightly run ship?
We would be happy to contact you with suggested appointment dates.
